How to avoid putting my body into starvation mode?

I have lost my appetite and have being feeling down ive been eating 500calories or less if i exercise for like 3 hours will this keep my metabolism up and stop my body from going into starvation mode?thanks in advance.

To lose your appetite to such an extent without mechanical cause is a sign of an eating disorder and you are looking to maintain it and as such committing slow suicide……get help and get it now. If there is a mechanical reason as in you feel sick or are sick then you also need to get help and get it now.
Anorexia is a disease that may well prove fatal, it is cruel and vicious and something you should be working hard to avoid. Dying is not something you can just drift toward and if you have something or someone you love then you should be doing your best to survive for them if not for you.
Pro ana is pro death and don’t let them tell you otherwise, there is nothing good about being a walking skeleton and there are no prizes for weighing less than a 4 year old child when you’re in your teens or above. It is somewhat insulting to poor starving people to realise that there are people in the western world who actively seek to look like them when they would walk over hot coals to get a decent meal.
I don’t know what is driving your depression, you do and it’s up to you to find a way to fight it and control it even if you never fully beat it into submission. Life is far too precious to waste it on starving yourself so grab it, grab it and live it, do it one day at a time if you have to. Find help, find God(s), find yourself but don’t post on here looking for fellow sick people to tell you how to starve and die better. Get help and get healed.

You really just need to be consuming more calories in order to stop your body from going into starvation mode. If you can’t eat that many, first I’d advise seeing you doctor, because it really isn’t good for you eating that few everyday. Secondly I’d consider drinking shakes in the mean time to make up the calories. You can get some really healthy, really nutritious protein shakes that will help you make up your calories until you can eat more.
